Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Computer Systems Architect to lead the computer infrastructure on a ground-based radar program for Space Domain Awareness. You will define the computer system architecture across multiple HPC environments supporting development, testing, and long-term sustainment of the radar system.

Ideal candidates bring strong systems engineering, virtualization, and cybersecurity experience, with an active U.S.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
• Extensive experience with computer system architecture and requirements decomposition.
• Experience configuring Red Hat Linux and HPC platforms.
• Familiarity with virtualization and SW containerization.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and MBSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to define and document computer system architecture.
• Specify hardware/software interfaces and security parameters.
• Design compute subsystems and integrate the total system.
• Identify and resolve program support deficiencies.
• Collaborate with admins, architects, DB managers, developers and cybersecurity staff.
