Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer at Level 2 or Level 3 to support a program from our Dulles, VA or Fairfax, VA offices. The role covers system integration, verification and validation across concept, design, test, installation, operation and maintenance with MBSE and strong requirements management.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering groups, develop artifacts, and participate in milestones from development through deployment; onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SCI clearance required at time of application.
• BS in STEM with 2 years systems engineering experience or MS in STEM with 0 years.
• Experience as systems engineer, system integrator, software engineer.
• Experience with requirements engineering or MBSE.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration and verification/validation across all lifecycle stages.
• Develop and release systems engineering artifacts including Specifications, TOA, Interface Control Documents, Test Plans and Reports.
• Collaborate with multiple functional engineering groups to synthesize requirements and new technology into implementable designs.
• Participate in Engineering Development, Production, and Deployment milestones.
• Review and provide feedback on engineering drawings and documentation.
• Document process improvements and new technologies for consideration.
