Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer at Level 2 or Level 3 to support a program out of Dulles, VA or Fairfax, VA. The role requires on-site work and SCI clearance.

The candidate will perform system integration, verification and validation, and develop artifacts across the full lifecycle, collaborating with multiple engineering groups to implement designs and improvements. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM with 2 years systems engineering exp or MS degree in STEM with 0 years exp.
• Level 3 requires BS in STEM with 5 years exp or MS with 3 years exp.
• Experience with MBSE or requirements engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration, verification and validation across all lifecycle stages.
• Decompose requirements across HW, FW, SW and engineering teams.
• Develop and release systems engineering artifacts (e.g., specs, architectures, IOs, test plans).
• Collaborate with multiple engineering groups to translate requirements into designs.
• Support engineering development, production and deployment milestones.
• Review engineering drawings and documents and provide feedback.
