Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a program from our Dulles, VA or Fairfax, VA offices. This role requires an active SCI clearance and is onsite only, with no remote work.

Level 2 or Level 3 candidates will perform system integration, verification, validation, and artifact development, collaborating across multiple engineering teams to meet design and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SCI clearance required at time of application.
• BS in STEM with 2 years systems engineering or MS in STEM with 0 years.
• Experience as systems engineer, system integrator or software engineer.
• Experience with requirements engineering or MBSE.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration, verification and validation across all lifecycle stages.
• Decompose requirements to HW, FW and SW levels and assign to teams.
• Develop and release SE artifacts like specifications and interface docs.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering groups to translate requirements into design.
• Support development, production and deployment milestones.
• Review engineering drawings and documentation and provide feedback.
