Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support programs from our Dulles, VA or Fairfax, VA offices. You will perform system integration and verification across HW, FW, and SW, ensuring requirements flow into total system solutions.
The role requires a DoD SCI clearance, potential for polygraph, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. Experience with MBSE and requirements management is essential.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required at application with CI polygraph.
- BS in STEM with 2 years systems engineering experience or MS in STEM with 0 years.
- Experience as systems engineer, system integrator, or software engineer.
- Experience with requirements engineering or MBSE.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform system integration, verification and validation across concept, design, test, install, operate and maintain.
- Decompose and allocate requirements to HW, FW and SW levels.
- Develop and release engineering artifacts: specifications, architecture documents, CONOPS, ICDs, test plans and reports.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering groups to translate requirements into implementable designs.
- Support milestones across engineering development, production and deployment.
