Job summary

AERO Specialties is seeking a full-time Area Service Technician in Boise, ID to support customers worldwide. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical repair skills, plus the ability to diagnose issues via remote channels and perform on-site repairs.

You’ll document activities, train customer teams, and work across multiple tasks to minimize downtime. Candidates should have at least 3 years of service repair experience in GSE or related fields, knowledge of repair manuals and diagrams,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with repair experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use repair manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose GSE issues via remote and on-site channels.
• Perform repairs and adjustments on components and operating systems.
• Disassemble/reassemble components with minimal assistance.
• Provide training to customer teams on operation and repair of equipment.
• Maintain service tickets with accurate documentation.
