Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Salon Leader to manage the Groom Shop operations, ensuring high-quality grooming, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will train and coach Groomers, oversee scheduling, and work with the Store Manager to grow the salon business.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of grooming experience, supervisory preference, and be able to provide their own grooming tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years grooming experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must provide own grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears).
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Associates must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Groom Shop; scheduling, safety checklists, and salon audits.
• Ensure grooming SOPs and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
• Place monthly supply orders within the budget after Store Manager approval.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding Groomers and Groom Technicians; oversee training.
• Communicate daily/weekly updates to salon team and Store Manager, including sales performance.
• Drive salon growth by reaching out to customers and coordinating events.
