Job summary

Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to oversee daily grooming salon operations and lead the grooming team. You will deliver expert grooming services while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for pets and parents alike.

Qualifications

2+ years' experience as a professional groomer
Completion of a technical grooming training program
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the grooming salon, optimize scheduling and capacity
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff with coaching and evaluations
Create and manage grooming schedules to maximize productivity
Monitor salon performance metrics and develop action plans
Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets and salon objectives
Interact professionally with pet parents and provide grooming recommendations
