Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to oversee grooming salon operations and a team of groomers. You will deliver expert grooming services, coach staff, and ensure high customer satisfaction while upholding Petco standards and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and a passion for pets. You will supervise scheduling, inventory, and daily activities, ensuring a positive environment for both pets and partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience or completion of a grooming program.
• 1–2 years of salon management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; confident with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and staffing.
• Recruit, train and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create grooming schedules to optimize capacity and profitability.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction and partner productivity.
• Interact with pet parents to offer grooming advice and resolve concerns.
• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling.
