Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Salon Leader to manage the grooming shop operations, coach staff, and deliver exceptional service to pet owners and their pets. You will oversee scheduling, safety checks, audits, and inventory while driving growth through customer engagement and community events.

The role requires 2+ years grooming experience with supervisory skills, comfort around dogs and cats, and the ability to manage tools, training, and documentation in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience under a professional groomer
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats; patient and compassionate with animals
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Groom Shop, including scheduling, safety checklists, and salon audits
• Ensure grooming SOPs and cleanliness standards are met
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new Groomers and Groom Technicians
• Communicate daily/weekly performance and planning to store leadership
• Drive salon growth through customer outreach, events, and community involvement
• Provide professional grooming services and ensure animal safety and well-being
• Maintain records of services and vaccination status
• Complete all documentation related to duties
