Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a hands-on Grooming Equipment Technician for a full-time, year-round role. You will maintain grooming machines, manage work orders, and assist with on-hill grooming and summer procedures to support grooming plans.

You must have heavy machinery experience; welding and grooming mechanic experience are preferred. The job is on-site and pays an hourly rate of $27.00–$32.00, with standard benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Heavy machinery experience.
• Welding experience, preferred.
• Grooming mechanic experience, preferred.
• Hydraulic/electrical system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all grooming machines and shop equipment.
• Manage record keeping, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Assist with on-hill grooming duties and summer procedures as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required by the resort and department leaders.
• Work safely with all provided safety equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
