Job summary

Stratton is seeking an Outdoor Technician to maintain exterior resort areas and support safety, cleanliness, and guest experience. You’ll work with the Appearance Manager, supervisors, and custodial staff to keep the property in top condition year-round.

The role offers full-time hours with seasonal and year-round opportunities, paying $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Recruitment continues through December.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required
• Experience with snow removal and/or landscaping is a plus
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Reliable attendance
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Assist with snow removal around the resort: shoveling, plowing, ice chipping, salting, and sanding
• Landscaping duties such as: mowing lawns, tree trimming, mulching, weed eating, weeding beds, shoveling, etc.
• Helping with the setup, maintenance and break down of events
• Coordinating daily and weekly tasks with supervisors and shift leads
• Help with daily setup and breakdown of all lodge area’s
• Empty trash bins, recycling bins, compost bins and pick up ground litter around the resort
• Prepare reports of daily logs and incidents
• Attend department safety meetings
• Manage and maintain vehicles, tools, and keep inventory of supplies
• Assist indoor custodial teams when business volumes require: cleaning windows, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash bins, painting, etc.
