Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) to join our team. You will learn to bathe and style dogs to breed standards while engaging with neighbors and their pets in a friendly, community-focused store setting.

We offer free, paid training through Paragon School of Pet Grooming and a free tool kit worth over $600 upon enrollment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is valued as part of our PAWsome team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or other industry working with pets.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Delighting Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learning and demonstrating all the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Always ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Developing long-term relationships with Neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy.
• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting.
• Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
