Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) in Indiana. You will participate in free Paragon grooming training, learn dosing techniques, and gain hands-on experience with bathing, brushing, and nail trimming for dogs. You’ll receive a starter tool kit and contribute to a friendly, neighborly store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or other pet-related roles.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Pass drug screening and be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delight Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learn and demonstrate the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Ensure the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times.
• Develop long-term relationships with neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services.
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Assist store team members during grooming downtime.
