Job summary

Harris Teeter in Boone, NC is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department and potentially the HBC/GM Department. You will assist with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation, and ensure adherence to company policies and laws.

Key responsibilities include interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, evaluating performance, and addressing complaints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 2–3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Complete company's training including but not limited to new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
