Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager (DLT) to supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department and potentially oversee the HBC/GM areas. You will help direct, coordinate and evaluate these departments in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The role involves interviewing and training staff, planning and directing work, assessing performance, and resolving customer complaints. Strong leadership and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
