Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead the grocery, dairy, and frozen departments with a focus on guest satisfaction and safe, efficient operations.

You will supervise staff, coordinate displays, ensure proper stock levels, uphold policies, mentor employees, and drive safety and loss-prevention measures. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and prior store experience, with an approximate 45-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification.
• Minimum of one year of store experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests upon entry.
• Maintain proper stock levels in grocery, dairy and frozen.
• Interview, train, schedule, and evaluate department staff.
• Manage dairy, frozen, and grocery merchandising.
• Ensure proper rotation procedures are enforced.
• Coordinate displays and quantity purchases.
• Oversee backroom organization and safety.
• Protect store assets and ensure policy compliance.
