Job summary

Price Chopper is seeking a hands-on Center Store Lead Assistant to support grocery and general merchandise operations. You will help with product merchandising, pricing, stocking set-ups, planograms, and displays, while monitoring inventory and assisting with ordering and training of new associates.

The role requires leadership to supervise clerks, ensure 5S standards, proper rotation, and adherence to sanitation and pricing procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to customers.
• Assist with day-to-day operation of Grocery/GM department and merchandising.
• Assist Center Store Team Lead with pricing, stocking, planograms and displays; monitor inventory levels.
• Order merchandise and supplies; store excess product in back room.
• Train and develop new associates; supervise clerks and ensure proper rotation and merchandising.
• Maintain sanitation and pricing procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Unload warehouse merchandise and support other store operations as needed.
• Help control shrink and adhere to policies; perform other duties as assigned.
