Job summary

Price Chopper in New York is seeking a grocery department associate to help run daily operations, assist with merchandising, pricing, stocking, plan-o-grams, displays, rotation and inventory levels.

You will support the Grocery Manager, provide fast, friendly service, train new associates, and ensure sanitation and pricing procedures are followed, with opportunities for growth across the store.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of related experience.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
• Assist with grocery department operations including merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, plan-o-grams, displays, rotation and inventory levels.
• Assist with training and development of new associates.
• Adhere to sanitation and pricing procedures.
• Maintain neat, clean workstation per 5S standards.
• Support store manager and assist with shifts and coverage as needed.
