Job summary

Price Chopper is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee the store's grocery operations, including dry grocery, dairy and frozen foods. You will manage staff, budgeting, merchandising, and store standards while ensuring fast, friendly customer service.

The role requires at least 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication and basic computer skills. Occasional coordination with other departments is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Oversee the grocery operation of a retail unit including dry grocery, dairy, frozen foods and DSD.
• Manage budgeting and financial aspects of the Grocery department within corporate standards.
• Ensure proper merchandising and stocking of all Grocery/General Merchandise products.
• Oversee backroom area and coordinate with other department managers to meet delivery schedules.
