Price Chopper in Massachusetts is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee the grocery operation of the retail unit, including dry grocery, dairy, frozen foods and DSD, and to ensure excellent customer service. The role is responsible for maintaining standards, coordinating merchandising and training associates.

The position requires budgeting responsibilities, supervision during store operations when needed, and the ability to manage overall store performance within corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• 3+ years of related experience and a High School Degree or equivalent.
• Performance reviews should be satisfactory.

Responsabilités

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Manage the grocery operation of a retail unit: dry grocery, dairy, frozen food and DSD.
• Oversee Grocery/General Merchandise department in store volumes that do not warrant a GM Manager.
• Responsible for budgeting and financial aspects of the Grocery department, including sales, gross margin and payroll.
• Coordinate merchandising of all Grocery/General Merchandise products.
• Ensure the Grocery Department is well stocked and presented within corporate standards.
• Train and develop associates within the Grocery department.
