Job summary

Aureate is seeking a Grocery Lead in Tampa, FL to support the Grocery Manager across dry groceries, dairy, frozen foods, and bulk. You’ll focus on superb customer experience, drive sales, and maintain accurate inventory while keeping center-store areas stocked and attractive.

As a Manager on Duty (MOD), you’ll play a key role in overall store success, working with vendors and leadership to meet merchandising goals and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign daily tasks to grocery team members.
• Maintain optimal stock levels with Grocery Manager and vendors to minimize shrink.
• Keep shelves, displays, and promotional areas well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety regs, and company policies.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet merchandising and promotion objectives.
• Analyze daily/weekly reports to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) when needed.
