The Kroger Co. in Hillsdale, MI is seeking team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment.

You will assist department managers in achieving goals, answer questions, and suggest products across the store while upholding our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Responsibilities include helping customers, stocking and labeling items, monitoring dates, adhering to safety standards, and reporting issues

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Effective communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials.
• Ensure product quality and monitor dates; take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise; provide fresh products per order.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Report safety risks and incidents promptly.
• Perform essential job functions with/without accommodation.
