Responsibilities

• Know products in the department and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials.
• Check product quality, review sell by dates and take action as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory merchandise and provide fresh products.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Adhere to safety programs and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Report all safety risks and illegal activity and remain compliant.
