Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Department Manager to lead all daily operations of the Grocery Department, drive sales, and uphold top-notch customer service, in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will hire, train, coach, and schedule associates, ensure in-stock conditions, accurate pricing, and high merchandising standards while maintaining compliance with safety policies and company procedures.

Main r esponsibilities :

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front ‑ faced, and merchandised to company standards
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment
