Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Department Manager in Hawaii to lead the Grocery Department daily, drive sales, ensure in-stock conditions and maintain high merchandising standards. You will guide a team, oversee pricing, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.

In this role you’ll train and coach associates, schedule staff, manage inventory, monitor shrink, and uphold food safety and company standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front‑faced, and merchandised to company standards
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment
