Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a customer-focused team member to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional shopping experiences. You will engage customers, assist with checkouts, and help train and coach peers to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities include scheduling support, inventory checks, ensuring product freshness, and maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment aligned with Meijer standards.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service experience preferred in retail or service roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with and motivate a team to achieve goals.
• Proactive problem solving and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to adapt and influence peers to deliver excellent service.

Aufgaben

• Engage customers to provide an exceptional store experience and checkout flow.
• Communicate with team and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor team members to exceed customer service and sales targets.
• Assist training of new team members and cross-train talent.
• Support scheduling with leadership to improve engagement and sales.
• Monitor product rotation and dating to ensure freshness.
• Ensure food safety standards and safe working practices.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product displays when applicable.
• Foster an inclusive Meijer culture and DEI values.
• Operate a register and handle cash as needed.
• Operate powered equipment where applicable.
• Participate in inventories and related processes.
• May act as Lead in other departments when required.
• This profile may include other duties as assigned.
