Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and communicate with team members.
• Mentor and coach teammates to meet service and sales goals.
• Assist with training and cross-training to develop talent.
• Participate in department scheduling to optimize engagement and performance.
• Lead product freshness by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Ensure food safety standards and safe work practices are followed.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and display activities.
• Contribute to Meijer culture, including diversity and inclusion values.
• Operate registers and cash handling when required.
