Dollar General is seeking a Manager on Duty to lead the Food Department and store operations in Mason, OH. You will oversee inventory, merchandising, and customer service while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

This role requires hands-on leadership, cash handling discipline, staff training, and the ability to manage day-to-day issues in a fast-paced retail environment. You will collaborate with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain performance standards and protect company assets.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Mansioni

• Oversee the Grocery Food Department and store operations when the Manager on Duty.
• Authorize refunds and overrides; manage cash handling and deposits.
• Train and develop associates; ensure stocking, rotation, and presentation standards.
• Maintain safety, inventory accuracy, and compliance with food handling rules.
• Direct shipping/receiving and organize merchandise to optimize sales and reduce shrink.
