Zusammenfassung

Dollar General seeks a capable Store Manager on Duty to oversee the Food Department and full store operations when scheduled. You will ensure inventory accuracy, appealing merch presentation, and customer service while maintaining safety and asset protection.

Responsibilities include supervising cash handling, training staff, and supporting Store/Assistant Managers. Prior lead or grocery experience is preferred; food handling certifications may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Aufgaben

• Authorize refunds and overrides; count register and deposit money.
• Maintain cash integrity and security practices.
• Manage store in Store Manager's and Assistant Manager's absence.
• Train employees as directed by Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Train associates in stocking and rotation of food products and presentation standards.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety compliance.
