Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the Grocery Department including hiring, training and developing department staff.
• Supervise department duties and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Oversee daily labor, scheduling and productivity to meet targets.
• Provide leadership to promote Food Lion's values and strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure customer service is fast, friendly and creates a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain store appearance, safety, and sanitation in the Grocery Department.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, and display of merchandise per policies.
