The position involves scheduling, training, merchandising and overseeing stock and promotions in a fast-paced retail setting, with a strong focus on safety and budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Manager in organizing work and staffing the department; train and schedule associates to maintain prompt, courteous service.
• Respond to customer and associate inquiries, complaints, requests, and incidents in a tactful, professional manner.
• Utilize CAO to manage ordering and ensure proper stock and inventory; track receipts and on-hand balance.
• Assist with pricing, signage, display, and space allocation for merchandise; ensure freshness and quality.
• Support merchandising, customer service, and promotional initiatives across the department.
• Adhere to company policies on dress code, safety, and harassment/discrimination, and implement programs as directed.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals, and results.
