Job summary

King Soopers is seeking a capable manager to lead our grocery department. The role emphasizes delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supervising all department functions.

The ideal candidate will guide daily operations, support budgeting and inventory tasks, and promote Customer 1st service standards across the store. With required high school education and management experience, the position favors candidates with a year of grocery retail exposure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Any management experience required.
• 1 year of grocery retail experience desired.
• Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity; notify management.
• Train department associates on inventory/CAO.
• Plan, organize and supervise inventory process.
• Schedule price changes with shelf tags and promotions.
• Note discrepancies in inventory and address them.
• Assist with store/department budget, P&L reviews and related actions.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages return visits.
• Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department.
• Support the day-to-day functions of Grocery operations.
