Kroger Family of Companies is seeking an Assistant Department Manager in the Grocery Department in India. You will assist in planning, organizing and directing staff, while ensuring prompt, courteous service and adherence to policies.

You will manage CAO-based ordering, pricing, merchandising, and display, while driving sales and safe, ethical operations. Weekend and holiday work is expected.

Qualificações

• Willing to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Proficient in production, merchandising and customer service related to sale of merchandise.
• Understanding of department operations: staffing, merchandising, ordering, inventory, shrink control, scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Department Manager in planning, organizing, staffing and directing Grocery Department associates.
• Perform production and customer service functions; maximize store sales and profits safely and ethically.
• Manage ordering using CAO to balance on-hand inventory.
• Price and display merchandise; ensure signage, rotation, freshness and space allocation.
• Promote company initiatives and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
