Job summary

Safeway in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Grocery Department Supervisor/Manager to assist the Grocery Manager in directing the operation of the Grocery Department, including supervising and training personnel, ordering, receiving, storing, pricing, stocking and merchandising.

This role may act as back up cashier, support front-end functions, ensure compliance with sanitation, safety and security policies, and may assume Store Director duties in their absence.

Qualifications

• Extensive retail background with prior management experience related to retail operations.
