The role emphasizes leadership in daily operations, merchandising, and process improvement to ensure efficient store performance and exceptional service during peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store and customer service flow.
• Ability to communicate clearly, resolve conflicts, manage multiple tasks, and analyze basic financial data.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentors and coaches team members; drives customer service and sales.
• Implements strategies to improve service and efficiency while meeting company standards.
• Maintains store appearance with emphasis on prime shopping hours and product presentation.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes career paths, development needs and promotion decisions.
• Documents disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, sales targets and shrink control.
• Models fast, friendly and helpful customer service.
• Ensures team training completion and adherence to Meijer standards.
