Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) helpful.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Serve as mentor and coach for all team members.
• Implement strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Ensure staffing and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and identify development needs.
• Document disciplinary actions and advise on discharges.
• Maintain store appearance with focus on prime shopping hours and presentation.
• Maintain compliance with company standards during peak hours.
