Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a seasoned department manager to lead the grocery team in maintaining product quality and optimal stock levels across the department. You will drive customer service, implement promotions, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will interview, train, and develop partners, monitor sales performance, and coordinate with upper management on inventory and labor planning. A strong focus on hygiene and food safety is required.

Competenze

• High school Diploma or GED required with two or more years of related experience or a higher education equivalent.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.
• AML certification required.
• Fuel Operator C training required.

Mansioni

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops partners; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance and manages disciplinary actions.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales and promotions; manages inventory and in-stock levels; reviews profit, loss, shrink and labor data with upper management.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
• Inspects product for quality control and food safety; ensures dating and proper rotation.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling and appealing displays.
• Maintains stock conditions on grocery displays and shelves.
• Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accurate ordering and paperwork.
• Open/close responsibilities; ensures adequate staff, safety, and cash management; delivers customer service with a friendly attitude.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary work and shopping environment by following safety procedures.
