Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Grocery Department leadership role in Highlands Ranch, CO. You will assist the Department Manager with organizing, staffing and directing associates, ensuring prompt service and adherence to policies.

You will use CAO for ordering, manage merchandising, and contribute to budgets and safety. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication, quick decision making, and the ability to handle stressful situations while promoting company initiatives and customer service

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in organizing work, staffing, training and scheduling associates.
• Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests; be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional.
• Use CAO to manage ordering and balance on hand.
• Price and display merchandise; maintain signage, rotation and space for products.
• Promote merchandising techniques and promotional activities.
• Follow company programs and policies on dress code, sanitation and harassment-free environment.
• Provide input on budgets, goals and results.
• Communicate with associates and customers to provide a positive impression.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely.
• Keep floors and grocery areas clean and up to sanitary standards.
• Promote company initiatives to direct reports.
