Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in organizing work, staffing, and scheduling associates to ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, and questions professionally.
• Use CAO to manage ordering quantities and verify product receipts and on-hand balance.
• Price and display products; ensure proper signage, rotation, quantity, and space allocation.
• Engage with associates on merchandising techniques, customer service, and promotions.
• Implement company programs and policies, ensuring dress code, grooming, sanitation and harassment/discrimination controls.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Communicate with associates and customers to create a positive impression.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and grocery areas to sanitary standards.
• Demonstrate capacity to promote company initiatives and process improvements to staff.
• Demonstrate aptitude to manage people and workloads.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
