Qualifications

• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Calm under pressure in customer-facing situations.
• Experience in production, merchandising and customer service.
• Knowledge of department operations: staffing, inventory, scheduling, shrink control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Manager in organizing work and staffing.
• Train and schedule associates for prompt, courteous service.
• Use CAO to manage merchandise quantities and balance on hand.
• Price and display merchandise; maintain signage and rotation.
• Coach staff in merchandising and customer service techniques.
• Implement company programs and adhere to policies, dress code and sanitation.
• Provide input on budgets, goals and results.
• Communicate with associates and customers to leave a positive impression.
• Maintain equipment and areas to sanitary standards.
• Support company initiatives and process improvements with reports.
• Demonstrate ability to manage people and workloads.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
