Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Manager in organizing work and staffing needs; train and schedule associates for prompt service.
• Respond to customer and associate questions, complaints and requests with tact and professionalism.
• Use CAO to order merchandise and manage inventory balance.
• Price and display merchandise; maintain signage, rotation, and space allocation.
• Coach staff on merchandising, customer service, and promotional activities.
• Ensure policy compliance, dress code, sanitation and harassment/discrimination prevention.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Communicate with associates and customers to create a positive impression.
• Maintain equipment and store areas to standard; promote company initiatives.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to manage workloads and people.
