Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in management is required.
• Grocery retail experience of 1 year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety regulations; maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Report safety risks/theft/fraud; notify management of accidents.
• Train associates on inventory/stocking and CAO.
• Plan, organize and supervise inventory processes.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags.
• Monitor inventory conditions and note discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, P&L reviews, and financial reporting.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Implement department promotional plans.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for merchandising.
• Create and execute store promotions with management.
• Understand store layout and product locations.
• Know products and respond to customer questions.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Train and develop associates; conduct performance reviews.
• Schedule to manage customer volume during hours.
• Promote teamwork and achieve store goals.
• Communicate department information to associates.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; provide feedback.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
