Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Department Manager to lead the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, merchandising, and profitability. This fast-paced, hands-on role oversees daily operations, ensures in-stock conditions, pricing accuracy, and high merchandising standards to drive store success.

You will hire, train, coach, and develop associates, manage inventory, planograms, and promotional sets while maintaining safety and compliance.

• Experience leading store or department operations in a retail environment.
• Ability to coach and develop associates.
• Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness.
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-facing, and merchandised to company standards.
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization.
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment.
