Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Grocery Department Manager to lead daily operations in Cottonwood, AZ. You will supervise all department functions, ensure food safety, and promote exceptional customer service while aligning with the Customer 1st strategy.

You will train and develop associates, manage inventory and pricing, and collaborate with store management on budgets and promotional plans to drive store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required to qualify for the role.
• Any management experience is required to supervise department operations.
• DESIRED: 1 year of grocery retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Direct and supervise all functions for the department and support day-to-day grocery operations.
• Train department associates on inventory, stocking, and CAO.
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process and pricing changes.
• Prepare seasonal critiques and work with store management on promotions and budgets.
• Collaborate with associates to achieve store goals and provide coaching and feedback.
