Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best shopping experience for customers, including checkout.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily work tasks.
• Mentor and coach teammates to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Support training and cross-training of staff to boost productivity.
• Assist in department scheduling to boost engagement and performance.
• Ensure product freshness through proper rotation and dating policy adherence.
• Lead by example in safety, food safety standards, and Meijer policies.
• Operate registers and cash handling when needed; assist with stock and display as required.
