Responsibilities

1. Create a positive shopping environment by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and making product suggestions.
2. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, understanding POS systems and handling various tenders.
3. Rotate merchandise according to code dating policies and check product quality for freshness.
4. Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise, reporting discrepancies to management.
5. Adhere to food safety regulations, maintain proper temperatures, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
6. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
7. Manage conflict calmly and act with honesty and integrity.
8. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math and effective communication skills.
• Ability to complete cashier training and memorize product information.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Experience

• Customer service and retail experience.
