Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to complete cashier training.
• Ability to memorize produce and sale items.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, understanding POS systems and handling various tenders.
2. Rotate merchandise and check product quality to ensure freshness and adherence to sell-by dates.
3. Promote trust and respect among team members.
4. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing product information.
5. Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
6. Report discrepancies in product ordering, shipping, and pricing.
7. Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
8. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and fireworks.
9. Stay current with promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
10. Maintain proper temperatures and logs for food safety.
11. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and practice preventive maintenance.
12. Report accidents and adhere to legal and company policies.
13. Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts calmly.
15. Act with honesty and integrity, following directions and seeking help when needed.
16. Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and seniors.
17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
