Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic math
• Ability to complete the cashier training program
• Ability to memorize produce and sale items
• Effective communication and reading skills
• Must be 18 years old

Desired Previous Job Experience:

Essential Job Functions:

1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently; understand the Point of Sale system; handle various tenders according to company policy.
2. Rotate merchandise according to policies and check product quality for freshness.
3. Promote trust and respect among team members.
4. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and assisting them.
5. Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
6. Greet, engage, and assist customers.
7. Inform customers of specials.
8. Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
9. Report discrepancies to management.
10. Adhere to cash handling and sale restrictions.
11. Stay current with ads and promotions.
12. Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
13. Ensure safety procedures are followed and unsafe conditions are reported.
14. Inspect equipment and report repairs.
15. Report accidents.
16. Follow all laws and company guidelines.
17. Physical demands include standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and other manual tasks.
18. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
19. Act with honesty and integrity.
20. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
21. Support customers with special needs.
22. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
