Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math
• Ability to fully complete the cashier training program
• Ability to memorize produce items and sale items
• Effective communication and reading skills
• Must be 18 years old

Responsibilities include rotating all merchandise according to code dating policies, checking product quality, reviewing sell-by dates, and taking appropriate action. The Hourly Grocery Clerk will promote trust and respect among team members and create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products, assisting with ordering, stocking, and inventory, processing transactions efficiently, adhering to safety and food safety regulations, maintaining proper temperatures, and reporting safety risks or issues. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, manual dexterity, and repetitive motions. The position requires performing these functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
